While serendipity is a frequent contributor to all of my research, it played a particularly important role when I began to research my husband's paternal ancestry. Surnames: Jones, Calhoun, Carpenter. Places: England, Scotland, Ireland, Connecticut, New York, Illinois, Missouri.
